Our Iris Dress is a true favourite. A cottagecore inspired design, which has been inspired by our grandmother’s, harking back to a bygone time. We’ve made it out of linen but you can make it out of any light or medium weight woven fabric.
This sewing pattern comes in pdf format. We’ve included A4 files for home printing, A0 files for large format printers as well as a projector friendly version too.
The dress features a round neckline, loop and button back opening. A lace up corset style back to give it a cinched in look (or leave it loose for a comfortable fit). Large oversized bishop sleeves, gathered at both the top and bottom for a whimsical look, finished with a button closure cuff. The long skirt is gathered at the waist and of course contains those most important deep pockets!
We loved making this dress and it’s a been a favourite teamed up with our Fauna jacket. We hope you find it as much fun as we did.
